Dorchester Children's Center is pleased to offer the Non-Offending Caregiver's Support Group. This group is designed to help caregivers cope with a variety of complex issues brought about by a child's disclosure, from coping with the initial shock of the disclosure, to dealing with the impact of navigating the legal system. We at Dorchester Children's Center are committed to providing supportive services for children and their families as they find their way through trauma toward healing.

Teen Dating Violence
The Teen Dating Violence Educational Group is held every few months. The purpose of the group is to promote dating safety in teenagers and facilitate conversations healthy/unhealthy relationships, domestic violence awareness, sexting, and prevention measures against teen dating violence.
During the group, teenagers will be taught characteristics of healthy and unhealthy relationships, have the opportunity to learn the definitions and signs of abuse, date rape, coercion, and stalking, and learn about the cycle of violence. The group will also inform teenagers of the early warning signs for potential dating violence as well as safety precautions to take when dating. The group is designed to be fun and interactive, so all in attendance should be willing to participate.
